Tomiko Gold, LCSW-C
Board Approved Supervisor, Psychotherapist
As a psychotherapist and board approved supervisor, I’ve been walking alongside children, teens, adults, and families in their healing journeys since 2007. My work began in prevention based work and community mental health, supporting individuals and families through some of their most vulnerable moments, and over the years I’ve developed a deep commitment to helping children and adults move through divorce, anxiety, trauma, and grief with steadiness and care.
I have extensive experience working in crisis, including safety planning and prevention, and I understand how overwhelming life can feel when everything seems uncertain. Whether you or your child is navigating the heartbreak of divorce, living with chronic anxiety, processing traumatic experiences, or grieving a profound loss, I offer a grounded and compassionate space where your story is honored and your pace is respected.
My approach is neuro-affirming, strength-based and deeply individualized. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all path to healing. I integrate positive psychoeducation, emotional exploration, and practical skill-building with creative and experiential practices such as art, play therapy, mind-body work, and connection to nature. Together, we focus on building healthy, safe tools that support regulation, resilience, and a renewed sense of inner peace. My goal is to help you and your family feel more anchored in yourself, able to self-soothe, connect authentically, and grow through even the most painful seasons.
Outside of the therapy room, I recharge in nature. I love walking wooded trails, hiking, or sitting by the water with my husband and pups. I’m nourished by good food, art and creativity, music, books, long road trips, and meaningful time with the people and animals I love. These same rhythms of presence and connection are the ones I gently weave into my work, supporting you as you find your own steady ground again.
