On April 26th, join our own Vanessa Durrant for an insightful exploration of roots and reclamation at the event Invisible Loss and Disenfranchised Grief: Recognizing the Unseen Conference. Vanessa Durrant, MSW, LCSW-C, will lead a poignant session on cultural grief. This workshop will delve into the deep emotional impacts of displacement, loss of cultural traditions, and the personal struggle for belonging in an ever-changing global context. Participants will engage with Vanessa’s expert guidance through reflective discussions and experiential practices aimed at healing and reclaiming disrupted cultural identities. Drawing from her extensive background as an immigrant Latina holistic therapist, Vanessa offers a unique perspective on navigating the complex landscape of grief associated with cultural loss.
