All of our staff have training in providing ethical e-therapy. We can often utilize the same in-office therapy interventions like emdr, brainspotting, yoga, play, and expressive art therapies after we have conducted a thorough assessment of therapy fit.
PARENTING
Your role as a parent is the most important role you will ever have. We utilize evidence based methods to help you be the best caregiver you can be. Research in the field of attachment and developmental science has continually found that children who have secure and healthy relationships with their caregivers go on to have happier and healthier relationships in life, higher self esteem, and experience less depression and anxiety. We are here to support you in your parenting journey. We often talk to parents that feel confused, depleted and discouraged. We will provide you not only with the emotional support every parent needs, but will also equip you with strategies that will help you feel more confident as a parent.
We also provide intensive therapy services for parents of biological, adoptive or foster children who are presenting with attachment and relational difficulties.
OUTDOOR NATURE BASED THERAPY
We offer outdoor nature based psychotherapy rooted in Ecopsychology theory. Numerous studies continue to confirm that as long as people feel safe — being in nature is an antidote to stress. Research finds that intentional time in nature can lower blood pressure and stress hormone levels, reduce nervous system arousal, enhance immune system function, increase self-esteem, reduce anxiety, and improve mood. Our outdoor nature therapy sessions vary from doing walk and talks, to playing games outdoors, to mindfully connecting with the natural elements via our senses. We build a nature therapy plan that works for you, while you feel safe and supported by us, so that you can deepen into your healing journey.
